Companies ask for a portfolio. You need a first project to make one.

slashkern gives you short projects to start with, an AI assistant to get you through them and a page to keep them on.

Projects you can finish in an afternoon.

Eight samples of what goes on a page. The creators and briefs are made up, and the photos and the video were made with AI.

Make it. Keep it. Get found.

  1. Make it with an AI assistant

Pick a short project. The assistant asks one question at a time, and drafts a first version only if you ask. You edit it, so it stays yours.

  2. Keep it on your page

Every finished project goes on your own page. It stays private until you press publish.

  3. Get found by companies

When it opens, companies can browse published projects and write to you through the platform. Your email stays private.

Questions

Is it free for creators?

Yes. You do not pay to join, to make a project or to publish it.

I have no experience. Can I join?

Yes, that is who it is for. Projects start small: a practice project takes about 40 minutes, and the assistant helps at every step.

Does the AI do my work?

Not on its own. The assistant asks questions and points at what is missing. If you ask, it can draft a first version to start from, marked Made with AI help. You edit it, change it and decide what to publish.

Is this a scam?

No. Creators are not charged anything, nothing is paid out yet, and you decide what to publish. If anyone asks you to pay to get a project, it is not us: write to us.

What can I make?

Seven kinds of projects: short videos, posters and logos, posts and captions, websites and small tools, product listings, music and sound, and AI prompts.

How do companies contact me?

Through the platform. A company sends you a message on slashkern and you decide whether to reply. Your email stays private.

Who can join, and where?

Anyone aged 18 or older. It is made for creators across Europe and starts in English. Companies on the platform may contact you, and the rules for younger people differ from country to country.
